We are looking for an open minded, highly motivated person to reinforce the Sales Development Consultant team with an At-Will contract. This is a new critical component of our go-to-market strategy and presents an outstanding opportunity to learn fundamental sales skills in preparation for an exciting career in SaaS sales. Our goal is to create great customer experiences by being Expert.ai technology experts and consulting with customers to identify their needs and pain points.
As an Inside Business Development Consultant, your mission will be to drive Expert.ai’s future growth engine by building relationships with prospective clients and turning them into happy NL API /Platform users.
You can be based in North America, while working with other resources that are geographically distributed. Work from home and flexibility or full remote positions can be evaluated according to the candidate experience.
What you will do :
As an Inside Business Development Consultant, you will:
- Identify high-potential prospective users from inbound / outbound leads as the first point of contact for many new and growing businesses interested in Expert.ai
- Deliver sales quota by mastering the buyer journey and owning the full sales cycle
- Lead short, single stakeholder deals as well as complex multi-party sales in a highly consultative manner
- Build value in competitive situations and enjoy working on products that require deep product understanding, combined with technical knowledge
- Anticipate market patterns, develop scalable strategies and repeatable processes that enable us to amplify the number of new businesses joining Expert.ai
Who you are:
- A 2+ years experienced professional with a track record of personal development and guidance towards closing technology solutions for start-ups / small medium enterprises and software companies
- Able to driving the sales process from internal leads to qualifying new prospects and managing deals to closure
- Able to understand the Expert.ai technology and build great relationships with highly technical customers
- Able to operate in a highly ambiguous and fast-paced environment
- A collaborative person with can-do and act-as-an-owner attitude
- A Superior verbal and written communicator
- Graduated with a bachelor’s degree
- Fluent English speaker
- Worker with prior experience at a growth stage software development and consulting company
- Passionate about artificial intelligence, machine learning, process automation, enterprise search or Big Data and Analytics
