Expert.ai Joins the Intermonte Valore Italia Index
Expert.ai, a leading provider of enterprise AI solutions for business value creation, is proud to announce that it has been selected among the 100 companies listed on the Borsa Italiana included in the new Intermonte Valore Italia Index. The Valore Italia Index is dedicated to small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) with a market capitalization of less than €1 billion that are not included in the FTSE MIB.
The index was created to promote publicly listed Italian SMEs, serving as a bridge between entrepreneurship, capital markets, and the broader Italian economy. It represents a cross-section of some of Italy’s most dynamic companies while helping expand and diversify investment opportunities beyond traditional indices for both domestic and international investors.
Companies selected for the index have been chosen based on rigorous technical and financial criteria designed to ensure adequate liquidity, transparency and investability, including minimum free float requirements, strong governance, analyst coverage, financial sustainability, prudent debt levels and overall representativeness within the index.
The index is part of Banca Generali’s new PMI2Change initiative, announced on July 1, 2026 at Borsa Italiana’s Palazzo Mezzanotte. PMI2Change is designed to support the growth and competitiveness of Italian entrepreneurs by fostering the development of publicly listed domestic SMEs. The initiative addresses the challenges of limited liquidity and market undervaluation affecting listed SMEs, helping create the best conditions for matching capital with businesses.
The initiative builds on the expertise of Intermonte, a leading Italian financial services provider with more than 30 years of experience in capital markets and specifically in SME research, trading and investment banking. Intermonte has been part of the Banca Generali Group since 2025.
Together with Investlinx and Intermonte, Banca Generali has launched a new PIR-compliant ETF based on the Valore Italia Index. According to the press release announcing the initiative, Banca Generali has committed an initial investment of €100 million during the first few months, with plans to gradually increase its investment to €500 million over the medium term. Banca Generali estimates that the initiative could generate up to €1-2 million per day, representing more than 5% of the Index’s free float.
