Expert System Recognized in Gartner’s 2019 Magic Quadrant for Insight Engines for the Third Year in a Row

2 October 2019

Evaluation Based on Completeness of Vision and Ability to Execute

Artificial Intelligence company Expert System today announced that it has been recognized by Gartner, Inc. in its 2019 Magic Quadrant for Insight Engines. This is the third consecutive year Expert System has been recognized by Gartner in this Magic Quadrant report, which evaluated 15 vendors.

According to Gartner, “insight engines are an evolution of search technologies that provide on-demand and proactive knowledge discovery and exploration augmented by semantic and machine learning (ML) technologies. They typically create a new index by crawling, indexing and mining both internal and external data sources, as well as structured and unstructured content, to ensure that a broad set of information is easily discoverable.”

Expert System believes its recognition is based on its ability to understand language and extract data in documents. By leveraging a rich, domain-independent representation of knowledge (Knowledge Graph), Expert System’s AI technology Cogito integrates the best of Natural Language Understanding (NLU) and Machine Learning (ML) to intelligently automate business processes and harvest relevant knowledge and critical insights from all the information available in enterprises’ organization.
