Expert System today announced that it is one of the founding members of the newly created Italian Insurtech Association (IIA), a non-profit that brings together insurance companies and brokers, banks and financial intermediaries and technology and service providers to promote the development of the digital insurance market.
Today’s customers expect to access insurance services in an immediate, secure and multi-channel way, at any time and from anywhere in the world. Italians are some of the world’s biggest users of digital services, presenting a significant growth opportunity for the Italian insurance industry to accelerate innovation through service models offered to customers and by increasing investments in line with new consumer trends.
The Italian Insurtech Association (IIA) was founded with this objective in mind. It will offer technical training and the opportunity to share technology best practices and synergies among members comparison with national and international institutions . Its mission is to “Enable Insurtech Ecosystems,” and it will work with the Global Insurtech Association, an international network of associations, of which IIA is a member.

The founding members of the IIA—10 managers and companies in the insurance industry—were joined by partners, both entrepreneurs and businesses in the insurtech industry, such as Swiss Re, EY, BNP Paribas, Net Insurance, Expert System and others.
