The project ‘I-FISH – Intelligent System for Production, Distribution and Traceability of Fish-Based Functional Foods’ is set in a context of reference such as the evolution of the modern consumer’s attitude towards food choices and consumption and aims at the development of an intelligent system for the design, production and distribution of fish-based functional foods. The proposed system will boast innovations in product, production processes, and monitoring, alerting and suggestion technologies to support the production and distribution of fish-based functional foods.
